Honestly, I did not watch any of the teasers before they released the mv. I don't really care about teasers tbh and usually just watch debut mvs straight away. After they debuted I did watch all of the teasers and I liked Minhyun's the best. Mainly because of his beautiful voice and I love this version of I'm Sorry. His voice sounds so soothing. I wish they'd release this version but that's probably not going to happen.

Minhyun, Ren, JR, Baekho, Aron

So I've fallen far into the fandom. I don't know how that happened but it's safe to say that I'm staying in the fandom as long as they are doing something (they're from Pledis so idk how it's going to be and since a new girl group is debuting in May, I can only hope they will have something to do to stay relevant).

Anyway, I think they are a bunch of really talented young boys. Most of them are 16/17 and they all seem more mature than their age when they perform. I wouldn't even think they're under 18 if I didn't know about it already. Except maybe Ren. Even so I don't think he looks that young.

So this is what I get from watching their reality show/interviews

Aron/Aaron Kwak
⊗ Prankster.
⊗ Cute (my friend and I call him round because of his face and features that are kind of round and cute)
⊗ Seems very friendly.

JR/Kim Jonghyun (leader)
⊗ The last member I warmed up to. No particular reason.
⊗ Level-headed person/cool.
⊗ Best dancer (imo).
⊗ Has a helium-like cute speaking voice :p
⊗ Quite competitive and usually wins.

Baekho/Kang Dongho
⊗ Happy-go-lucky.
⊗ Competitive and likes to cheat in games/missions (most of the time).
⊗ Smiles a lot.
⊗ Very different on and off stage but not forced. If you know what I mean.

Hwang Minhyun
⊗ Pretty boy.
⊗ Is actually kind of mean but you don't see it often. He gives off a gentle guy vibe but he says mean things sometimes.
⊗ While some of the 95-liners treat each other like brothers (eg: baekho/ren), his interaction with the others is really friend/best friend-like. One of the reasons why I ship him with everyone.
⊗ He shows effort to speak English with Aron lol. I find that adorable.

Ren/Choi Minki
⊗ He is a little awkward.
⊗ He seems shy but at the same time I feel like he's toning down his bright personality for his image.
⊗ Gets angry at Minhyun quite a lot lol. Minhyun teases him a lot too.

I have a favourite of course, like my other fandoms but I find it hard to dislike any of them at this point. They all have likable personalities.

Finally they're concluding their Face promotion and went straight to a follow up song. As much as I'm excited about this follow up, I'm worried because from this performance you can tell that they're not in their best condition. It might be because the song requires more vocal showcase. Baekho sounds fine to me but I wonder why he didn't sing the 2nd part properly. Mic problem? Or he's just simply saving his voice. Minhyun has a lovely voice but he struggles a bit for his part. Still sounds nice tho. Ren gets quite a lot of part in this song compared to Face. His voice may not be my favourite but he sounds good. He has this Japanese singer kind of voice. My favourite part of the choreo is when Ren and Aron slide down together back to back. It surprisingly has an effect on me. I can't explain it but I love that part. I actually thought Aron had a singing part in the song but nope. I like his voice so hopefully he gets to sing more and just give the rap parts to JR.

Wanted to include SPICA too but I don't know much about them past their music.

I haven't been interested in a new boy group since MBLAQ (2/3 years ago!) and I have fallen hard for NU'EST. I wasn't really interested in Pledis Boys/After School Boys because I don't get myself into predebut groups. They tend to let me down after their debut (ex: B2ST. Yeah I used to be excited for them but after debut, meh). I made a note for myself to wait for any group's debut before getting into the fandom. I really like NU'EST. The feeling I had after watching their mv was the same feeling I had after watching MBLAQ's debut. It was a turn off at the beginning knowing that they're all so young (a 93er and 4 95ers). I think they're the youngest group in kpop as of this moment. However, they don't look that young and that's one of the reasons why I can tolerate the age factor.

What's not to like? They have catchy music, charismatic stage performance, and I think it's safe to say that they are all good looking. It's hard to pick a favourite but if I had to, it's Minhyun. He caught my eyes instantly when I was watching the mv and he has a lovely voice. Baekho comes close second. He looks the oldest so that's a plus for me. There's none that I dislike in this group. They are all interesting in their own way.

I think my interest in this group skyrocketed when I found out that my friends like them too. It's been fun discussing about them. I never really got to do that with my other fandoms. I even got my roommate humming the song! lol.

First of all, I just want to say that...I LOVE SPICA. Their vocals are amazing. Each and everyone of them. Even the rapper has a nice deep voice. The song has been stuck in my head for weeks now. My favourite member has got to be the blonde one, Narae. She caught my eyes as far as looks go and her voice is pretty too. The two main singers have really powerful voices but I think I like Bohyung's voice the best.

Also, FTI's new Japanese song. dhfladkjsdhf;k it sounds so good so far. I hope the full song will be good.

The concert started off with an intro on the big screen with the list of the concerts that they did since 2007.

They came out and the crowd went wild (duh!). They introduced themselves. Hongki and Jonghun did it in English (except the “apa khabar” part) but the other 3 did it in full Malay. Seunghyun said “Apa khabar! Saya Seunghyun. Saya cinta padamu. Terima kasih!” (I’m Seunghyun. I love you. Thank you!) lol!. They did most of the MC in English without a translator on stage (which is really admirable to me!) Hongki did it pretty well at the beginning but towards the end he had a little trouble trying to explain. At one time, Jaejin helped him find the right sentence and he was like “Thank you!” lol. Jaejin, Minhwan and Seunghyun said a few things too (actually, more than I expected) and they were understandable. Minhwan did really well. I could understand him easily. I didn’t know his pronunciation was THAT good. Jonghun didn’t say much (as usual lmao). I don’t remember what he said but his pronunciation was good. During Flower Rock, Hongki told the people in the Rock Zone to sit (he wanted us to jump together) but they were probably confused, and Hongki didn’t know how to explain lol. Then he gave up and we could see Minhwan laughing behind him on the big screen. I heard he insisted the Singapore fans to sit. He’s learning from experience :p

Thank you marthapido and Kak Chi (and Kak Tea, Pia, Ain, etc) for coming with me to the concert. I had so much fun! This is definitely worth the money spent. A bit sad that I didn't get to go to the fanmeeting but I guess it's alright. It's the concert that matters the most!
